Waking up

An Agapanthus just begnning to bloom around sunset. The flowers are backlit with light reflrected from a setting sun. Agapanthus blooms are inflorescences, clusters of individual flowers that all emerge from a common stalk. More specifically they're umbels, since all the flowers attach at a common point.
