Diamond Bar's Grand Avenue Beautification Project - Best of the Set (10/16)

Bird of paradise flowers (Strelitzia reginae) pop in the late afternoon sun; amazingly, they actually look like bird heads on long necks! The smaller red plants appear to be dwarf bottlebrush (Callistemon citrinus). Seen on the northwestern corner parkway of the Grand / Diamond Bar intersection.
