My first chain mail (chainmail, maille, etc.) project, in progress. Here I'm comparing how using two or three captives looks and functions; two captives results in a distinctly more flexible chain, three captives looks cooler. This is a captive inverted round weave with 20ga 5/32" ID turquoise anodized aluminum and 20ga 3/16" ID bright aluminum rings. The large blue ring on the lower project is a placeholder.
