Close-in (100% crop) views of two blending errors Photoshop CS5 made while blending my eight-image Poinsettia female flower series. On the left Photoshop has selected a line of the plant at the correct focus, but then used incorrect focal planes for the remainder of the stem. On the right photoshop has added what I call "points" or "bars" of light; blending errors (often near the edge of an image) where Photoshop inexplicably adds in a bright streak or point.
