Preserved dinoflagellate at 400x

Add to Lightbox
A preserved dinoflagellate seen at 400x magnification. The equatorial groove through which one of their two flagella runs is easily visible. This is a good example of how faint most of the dinoflagellates are on the slides we have at OCC.
